Ri&Flex Wing

The Ri&Flex Wing is a patented "variable geometry" wing system which allows the Multi-Access concept of AKOYA to be used in a number of ways. As a flexible component based on high performance technical textiles, coupled with a rigid carbon wing, the Ri&Flex Wing optimizes performance.

Ri&Flex Wing

At cruising altitude configuration, the surface of the Ri&Flex Wing is smaller than a conventional wing. The extra visibility also reduces the risk of collision and the aircraft is less sensitive to turbulence and this reduces fuel consumption.

Together with the hydrofoils, it allows takeoffs on water surfaces with waves. The material used is tear-proof; it resists the harshest environments, particularly salty substances.
