The AKOYA has been devised to simplify the life of its passengers:
- The canopy opens and closes with no effort while retaining a mechanical unlocking system.
- The steps integrated in the Seafoils allow easy access onto the AKOYA when on water or on land.
- The pivoting wings mean that the AKOYA can be stored in a smaller space (hangar, boat, private garage) and be easily transported by trailer. The manipulation required has been designed to be easily done by one person alone.
- The removable anchor and tow hooks allow the amphibious aircraft to be towed or lifted for storage or to stabilize it on the ground- 12V power supply for charging electronic devices.
