Hy-Bird-E represents the first stage of the development of the Hy-Bird project.

This plane, like Hy-Bird, will use the airframe of AKOYA, the first plane developed by Lisa Airplanes. In 2010 it will make its first electric flight, equipped only with batteries recharged with solar cells.  The goal of this short first flight is to prove a first technical phase and the integration of these new electrical components.  Moreover it will be the first two-seater recreational aircraft to fly  by means of solar energy.
